Build 11.29.22


This is a small update with a small number of bug fixes.

I plan to have a much larger update soon that works on the technical side of the way enemies spawn in and the way the camera functions. 

The fixes included in this update are

  •  infamous door glitch (my friend BEGGED me to fix this)
  • respawning bugs (not like anyone died)
  • crystal no longer deals damage
  • player no longer starts with 100 magic

bugs/things I am aware off

  • enemy spawning bugs
    • some enemies won't reappear, move, or have a proper collision
  • player collision seems to be messed up as well
  • sword swinging down does not work (pretty big to miss :p)
  • text boxes for items are very janky and don't look nice.
  • pressing select will lag the game
    • most likely due to setting 4 variables and then sending a hud out each time
  • Using the health bottle does not depend on magic like it should allowing the player to repeatedly use
    • the current function was not intended. My original idea was to consume all magic in exchange for health. The way it's set up now is just 20 for about a whole heart (if I remember correctly)

  • rework of camera system (easier to use)

  • more bug fixes
